| Access Computer Systems Corporation combines both the industry expertise of our team of Microsoft, Linux or Unix network systems engineers with our proven experience to design, implement, and manage mission-critical solutions to support your network and desktop environments. No network technology goes unturned! Mike Herbert, CEO
Network Evaluation & Planning Services include:
Network Design helps you plan a new network or improve an existing network. Leveraging the computer industries latest technology through project-driven methodologies and expertise in high-performance networks, our network consultants provide you with information, recommendations, and best practices that optimize the performance of the computing environment.
Network Modeling
Network Modeling is a valuable tool to analyze and predict network behavior in a controlled environment. Using a specialized tool set, Access Computer Systems Microsoft Engineers can model a variety of custom network simulations. Network Modeling may also be used to correctly scale network costs, bandwidth utilization, and network reliability. The service can model a variety of protocols, transport mechanisms, and services, as well as a number of service metrics (Modeling offered on networks w/25 + workstations).
Network Deployment
Through Network Deployment we coordinate with you to ensure that the transition to your newly designed network infrastructure is deliberate, anticipated, and that it will minimize downtime.
Network Planning Services
Network Planning allows for a smooth transition from an existing network infrastructure to a new network design with less impact on business operations.
LAN & WAN Networks
We have the staff and expertise to meet any network challenge! Our Total Access engineers have experience in networking both LANs and WANs.
LAN (Local Area Network):
A LAN is a computer network that spans a relatively small area. Most LANs are confined to a single building or group of buildings. However, one LAN can be connected to other LANs over any distance via telephone lines and radio waves. A system of LANs connected in this way is called a wide-area network (WAN).
Most LANs connect workstations and personal computers. Each node (individual computer ) in a LAN has its own CPU with which it executes programs, but it is also able to access data and devices anywhere on the LAN. This means that many users can share expensive devices, such as laser printers, as well as data. Users can also use the LAN to communicate with each other, by sending e-mail or engaging in chat sessions.
WAN (Wide Area Network):
A WAN is a computer network that spans a relatively large geographical area. Typically, a WAN consists of two or more local-area networks (LANs). WANs can be global in size extending across international boundaries and timelines.Computers connected to a WAN are often connected through public networks, such as the telephone systems. They can also be connected through leased lines or satellites. The largest WAN in existence is the Internet.
Network Administration & Support
At Access Computer Systems, our Infrastructure Maintenance and Support services help implement and maintain a diverse computing environment, so you are better positioned to rapidly modify your IT infrastructure to meet the growing demands of your business.
Periodically, Networks must be maintained to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Weekly or bi-weekly our engineers will run diagnostics to monitor and test the efficiency and functionality of your company Network. We can measure Network traffic, Performance Analysis, Collision Analysis, and CPU usage as well as many other diagnostics. Like a finely tuned automobile, Networks need to be administered routinely in order to help prevent disasters.
Importantly, consistent network maintenance and support will keep your company on the cutting edge. For example, electronic business is revolutionizing the way organizations operate, creating new opportunities and challenges. Unfortunately, many organizations are hampered by the diversity of their IT environments. Your ACS engineer will keep you notified of the latest development that way your company does not suffer from complacency. Don’t fall asleep and wake-up 10 years later to find that your network is obsolete.
Onsite Administration:
Access Computer Systems engineers will come to your place of business and make certain that your computer network is running smoothly. We run network diagnostics to ensure that your network is not overworked, running slow, or experiencing data loss. Routine administration is critical in keeping your network running smoothly.
We can come weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to monitor your network.
Remote Administration:
Access Computer Systems engineers can monitor your network from our central offices. We can access your servers and computers and run network diagnostics with out having to be at your place of business. Additionally, we can create an alarm system to notify our engineers when a mission critical situation occurs. With our 2-4 hour emergency response time we can be at your place of business promptly to correct the problem.
Network neglect can be extremely costly!
